Bergdorf Goodman: The infamous department store that is so much more than a store, but rather an entire experience. It sells luxury goods and is located on Fifth Avenue in Manhattan.
This place is nothing but elegance. Almost each appointment we had during our trip, someone would mention how if a person's collection is sold at Bergdorf Goodman, they have "made it" in the industry. The buyers here are very picky and will only sell the very best.
There are several entrances, in my most recent adventure here I came in through the jewelry section. The carpet was impeccably clean, the lights strategically placed to enhance the sparkle of the jewels, and employees perfectly dressed. There are many floors, each one offering something incredible.
I have been there a couple of times and I will say I felt much more at ease when I entered looking more well kept as opposed to wearing my tennis shoes and casual sundress. Feeling a little underdressed to be browsing Chanel gems, we decided to visit handbags, then head up to the shoe department.

This was not your typical shoe shopping experience. This was clearly a hang out for women where they can sit, socialize and shop. We did not have time to do this, but if you get the chance, make a reservation for their brunch. It is reasonably priced and you can have a nice hour enjoying divine food... maybe feeling a little famous.
